The Role

Superb opportunity to join an award-winning leading international law firm in a team that offers specialist professional indemnity advice to a broad range of insurance clients.

The firm is recognised across the UK for its outstanding client care and high-quality lawyers.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm's Insurance team, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced associate / senior associate to work alongside its team.

Previous work experience of the team includes the collapse of Worldcom and Enron and the Madoff and subprime credit crisis.

The ideal candidate will have a experience in Financial Institutions and D&O Insurance Coverage and insurance litigation including pre-action and litigation procedural knowledge and have experience of advising insurers and professionals on disputes.

The successful candidate will deliver high quality and commercially focused advice, have a strong technical competence.

There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong Solicitor with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.

The Candidate

  • A qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE
  • Experienced in FI, D&O, Policy Coverage and Insurance Litigation
  • Clear enthusiasm for professional indemnity
  • Self-starting with initiative
  • The ability to work as a team working on complex matters
  • Great time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to build very good relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills, including the ability to work with others
