Job Summary

Aon is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team as a D&O Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.

About the Role

  • Negotiate and place renewal and new D&O and management liability contracts
  • Utilize insurance capacity to deliver optimum results for clients
  • Ensure compliance with our processes
  • Develop and maintain insurer relationships
  • Provide exceptional service and technical expertise to clients
  • Prepare and lead market presentations
  • Provide technical support to our network offices
  • Draft, review, and issue insurance contracts
  • Develop our business
  • Support and contribute to business development strategies
  • Represent Aon, demonstrating an understanding of corporate objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the insurance industry, with established market relationships and a knowledge of the D&O and/or Financial Institutions markets
  • Technical insurance knowledge
  • Detailed understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate with Risk Managers reporting directly to C-Suite within blue chip organizations
  • Experience of communicating with sophisticated insurance purchasers within the S&P 500, LSE, Euronext, and NYSE
  • Excellent understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
