About the Role
We are looking for a full time practitioner.

You will be based in rooms, jointly responsible for the day to day running of the room, which includes the guidance of other staff in the room and have the ability to follow and plan for children's interests during play using the current frameworks.


Skills and Experience required
-
be qualified to SVQ 3 (level 7) Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent
- be able to solve problems and come up with and implement solutions
- excellent planning and observation skills
- have at least 2 years recent experience in a Nursery setting
- have excellent observational skills

  • Have a proven record of implementing frameworks (My World Outdoors, Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, Pre birth to 3, Health and Social Care Standards)
  • Keen interest in outdoor play
- be driven, focused, positive and fun

Also desirable but not essential:

  • Further childcare qualifications such as SVQ4, PDA, HNC, HND etc
  • Knowledge of 'The Curiosity Approach'
