About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in Dundee. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting four active gentlemen with learning disabilities to live independently in their own shared home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, housework, medication, finances, and appointments
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities, such as swimming, football, and day trips
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and supportive environment
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the individuals we support and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements
  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and passionate team. We also offer a full clean driving license as a desirable qualification, but this is not a requirement.

Shift patterns will involve working early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, public holidays, and weekends on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not included in contracted hours and are paid at a rate of £96 per sleepover.
