About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at Cornerstone. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to two ladies with complex support needs in their own residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support both ladies with their day-to-day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving, and assisting with medication.
  • Participate in and support the ladies' hobbies and interests, such as music and sensory activities, arts & crafts, day trips, baking, swimming, and going for walks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide around-the-clock support tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Assist with the ladies' mobility car and participate in activities that promote their independence and well-being.

About You

We are looking for someone who is caring, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. You will have good communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, and weekends on a rotational basis.

Requirements

  • A full driving license and at least 1 year's driving experience (although this is not a deal-breaker for the right candidate).
  • Confidence in the use of computers.
  • A positive approach to learning and a willingness to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare.
