About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at Cornerstone. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing support to two ladies with complex support needs within their own residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support both ladies with their day-to-day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving, and assisting with medication.
- Participate in and support the ladies' hobbies and interests, such as music and sensory activities, arts & crafts, day trips, baking, swimming, and going for walks.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide around-the-clock support tailored to the needs of each individual.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the ladies, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A caring and compassionate attitude.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity.
- A positive approach to learning.
- Confidence in the use of computers.
Shift Patterns
Shift patterns may include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, and weekends on a rotational basis. We are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment that meets the needs of our team members.
