About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at Cornerstone Community Care. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to two ladies with complex support needs in their own residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support both ladies with their day-to-day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving, and assisting with medication.
  • Participate in and support the ladies' hobbies and interests, such as music, sensory activities, arts & crafts, day trips, baking, swimming, and going for walks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide around-the-clock support tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Assist with the ladies' mobility car and participate in activities that promote their independence and well-being.

Requirements

  • A caring and compassionate attitude, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Confidence in the use of computers and willingness to learn new skills.
  • A positive approach to learning and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Shift Patterns

Shift patterns will include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, and weekends on a rotational basis. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment, and we expect all staff to share this commitment.
