Full time hours, after completing training could be a hybrid role.


We have several Business Support Officer posts across the Council supporting various service areas including Adult and Children's Social Care, Clean Air Zone, Public Health, Your Homes Newcastle, Licensing.

You should have the ability to multitask and deal with changing priorities. It would be an advantage if you have previous experience of minute taking and the administration of meetings. You should be fully familiar with data protection and the use of MS Office / Office 365.


The hours of work are 8:4- 5pm and will be initially based at Allendale Road in Byker before moving to a mix of office and home working.


The hours of work are between 8am - 5pm and will be initially based at either Allendale Road in Byker or The Civic Centre in the city centre before moving to a mix of office and home working.


2 full time posts are available based at Your Homes Newcastle, YHN House, Benton Park Road, NE7 7LX, you will be required to have a good understanding of MS Office packages, have excellent customer service skills, dealing with customers on the telephone, cover will be required.
