OnCue are seeking
a Head of Fleet to join their growing team.


The cost and management of our growing fleet of Ambulances is a key driver of the businesses profitability and requires consistent monitoring of the data ensuring prompt and decisive action are taken together with addressing any issues and optimizing the fleet capacity, usage with mínimal downtime.


THE JOB:

  • Complete ownership of the businesses fleet operations and effectiveness. Ensure strategy for the function is put in place, which is in aligned to business objectives and growth plan
  • Develop and implement supplier management strategies to maximize cost effectiveness and reduce vehicle downtime.
  • Develop clear strategy for fleet growth and management in line with business expectations, working closely with the executive team.
  • Acquire the fleet at optimal cost and ensure a complete understanding of all the costs associated at a vehicle level and total fleet level.
  • Daily reporting to the executive team on the performance of the fleet. Present reports on department operations and expenses on a recurring basis with key KPIs
  • Prepares and implements departmental budget which the department is measured
  • Develop and implement procedures, policies, and safety protocols for all fleet services staff together with internal fleet management policies.
  • Develop schedules and procedures for routine maintenance and nonroutine repair of all vehicles.
  • Oversees and manage a fleet team of 3 with 1 direct report ensuring clear daytoday responsibilities and outputs from the department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for team development.
  • Manage fleet Insurance and claims process to agreed guidelines ensuring cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure the entire fleet is compliant with the associated regulations and compliance factors of doing business, such daily vehicle checks, cleanliness and so forth.
  • Other project and Adhoc tasks

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience of using data to improve performance.
  • The ability to present your ideas and rationales to senior management clearly and concisely.

  • Proficient in all key packages such as Microsoft Excel and or BI

Up to £65,000.00 per year

  • Cressy Road, NW3 2NH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
