Hospital Engineer/ Hospital Maintenance

Location: Duchy Hospital, Cornwall, Truro

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time, Shift 08:00am - 16:00

Salary: Depending on experience & qualifications + Benefits

Summary:
Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Duchy Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant rural setting on the outskirts of Truro.

By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. The hospital is also equipped with a day case theatre, with endoscopy facilities.

A wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities are available including x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physiotherapy, sports injury clinic, continence and health screening.

The role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Hospital Engineer/ Hospital Maintenance person to join our team at the Duchy Hospital, based in Cornwall.

What you'll bring with you:

  • A very organised approach with an ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a reputation for being a team player
  • Experience as a tradesperson or maintenance engineer with (enter qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 18 in Electrical Engineering)
