An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and dedicated hospitality assistant for a finance company.

My client based in Bank area and now seeking for an experienced hospitality assistant to join their team to support the Hospitality Team in the provision of a premium service level, both front and back of house.


This includes providing a friendly and professional Front of House service to all visitors, members, and colleagues, and ensuring that meeting rooms are set up in accordance with the style of any catering requested for the meeting.

This is a part time position with immediate start working 3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday.

Contract hours: 7 hours a day on a rota basis, but generally 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9.30am - 5.30pm. However, there may be an opportunity for extra days, on occasion, on an overtime basis.

Duties include:

  • Running a smooth service, while ensuring that a consistent level of quality is maintained at all times.
  • Setting up rooms with crockery/cutlery appropriate to the style of catering to be served.
  • Serving and clearing catering from rooms
  • Keeping rooms stocked with crockery
  • Waitress/Waiter duties for Fine Dining Lunches/Dinners (this will entail out of office hours working on occasion)
  • General kitchen duties, including but not limited to, cleaning crockery, doing laundry, and laying out food
  • Ad hoc duties which may arise across the Hospitality & Facilities teams
  • Educated to GCSE standards or equivalent. An NVQ in Hospitality or other relevant qualification would be desirable.
  • First Aid trained/willing to undertake training
  • Fire Warden Trained/willing to undertake training
  • Previous experience in catering/hospitality
  • Experience of assisting with the setup of meeting rooms
  • Good communication skills. The ability to interact with colleagues and guests in a polite and friendly fashion
