The Role

Working to support the Head of HR, the HR Officer will provide a professional HR support service and will assist in shaping the future of HR delivery within the company. Ensuring that the company continues to match best practice employment policies, as well as complying with relevant regulation and legislation.

The role provides HR support to the whole company covering a wide range of employment matters. It provides a professional, compassionate, and efficient HR service. It involves regular and close collaboration with all employees, managers and directors and requires a high level of initiative, empathy, and experience in the field of human resources, and employment best practice.

What you will need to succeed

  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Clarity of view and focus on objectives; results driven.
  • Ability to build strong relationships; internal and external.
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to maintain systems and procedures.

Key skills required include

  • CIPD qualified.
  • Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience
  • Experience working in commercial environments
