The successful candidate will join the Payroll Operations Team, led by the Payroll Operation Leads, with responsibility for all aspects of payroll administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Running monthly payroll in accordance with the timetable.
* Handling overpayment administration and recovery.
* Facilitating payroll payments (BACS and CHAPS).
* Providing guidance to HR teams on payroll matters.
* Efficiently addressing payroll queries within Service Now.
As an 'any-desk' worker, you'll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.
Requirements:
* Specialized operational payroll experience, handling end-to-end payroll processing within medium to large organizations.
* Proven expertise in technical payroll processing and resolving complex payroll queries.
* Familiarity with monthly payroll processes, HMRC requirements, and statutory deadlines.
* Knowledge of HMRC payroll legislation.
* Strong ICT skills, proficiency in standard software packages like MS Office and Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly numerate, accurate, and detail-oriented.
