This is a home-based role, with travel to customers and attending conferences.
Duties to include Responsible for generating and pursuing new business opportunities in your designated area, through building a comprehensive territory plan with includes proactive prospecting, marketing campaigning and a combination of relationship building in amongstgroups and individuals within your territory area for your focus sector/ segment.
- Proactively manage your portfolio of customers, identifying the key advocates and those that open new doors.
- Day to day management of a centralised pipeline for recording prospect value and progress
- Attending conferences, meetings and other events.
- Relationship building with new and existing customers, including site visits.
- Price request, analysis, contract production and negotiation with customers including related administration
- Negotiation with suppliers inday to ensure best value
- Responsible for a small portfolio of renewals in addition to New Business activities
- Resolving general account queries both identified internally and from your customers
- Tracking and managing customer queries in the company database(s)
- Demonstrable experience of achieving sales targets
- Confident public speaker/presenter
- Keen eye for analysis of contract documentation, options and writing analysis & proposals.
Location - Home based (ideally in the South), but with some travel for conferences and site visits, including overnight stays
Working hours - 09:00 - 17:00
