IT Technical Specialist

This position is primarily focused on supporting the local Cambridge office, although it will also cover remote support for other sites across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve incidents across a range of platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, O365, IOS and Android.
- Effectively assist users with IT related incidents and escalate where required.
- Interact and consult with Level 1 Service Desk.
- Accurately record, update, and create documentation, both inside and outside of the service desk.
- Install, upgrade, and configure IT hardware.
- Configure and support mobile devices.
- Support and configure meeting room audio visual equipment.
- Support and maintain IT equipment within laboratories.
- Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.
- Maintain a firstclass level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
- Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge around IT infrastructure and networks.
Other Qualities:
- Able to work effectively and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven problemsolving skills.
- A highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities under pressure.
