We are alongside customers in this unprecedented industry change, helping to deliver on energy transition and decarbonization objectives for both new ships and fleet upgrades.
Whether the largest, higher voltage ships or smaller support fleets our scalable systems are at work on vessels working on all phases of wind and conventional energy projects, from construction to production and support, and on cable installation, survey and research ships.
- Define and achieve the sales target regarding value, profitability, and value-added services for the naval services market.
- Develop new business opportunities with maximum revenue growth as well as continue to drive high revenue business from key accounts.
- Lead (manage performance, coach, guide) a multiskilled sales team through customer value solution-based sales strategies.
- Drive the sales process from prospect to close.
- Stay tuned to the market and competition, participating in trade events, conferences, customer forums, and then bringing input to internal teams around technological changes and offerings that will help to differentiate GE Power Conversion in the marketplace.
- Liaise with the Regional Sales Managers to create an effective global sales network.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology or related field.
- Proven Offshore or Marine experience in a commercial selling role.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Experience in influencing in a matrix organization.
- Knowledge of customer procurement processes.
- Knowledge of SFDC.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, drives, and automation systems.
- Ability to travel to overseas destinations on short notice and for short periods as the business requires.
- "C" suite engagement experience
- Business Language (English fluency spoken and written)
