Data & Performance Officer

Our client, a charitable organisation doing vital work in the community, have an exciting new opportunity for a Data & Performance Officer to join their team.

The role will be working within a small team that Is vital for all departments in the organisation.

Duties within the role will include:

  • Being a point of contact for all data and database queries and promoting a continuous data-led improvement culture across all departments
  • Carrying out quantitative analysis of primary and secondary datasets using Excel
  • Maintaining data integrity to ensure that the services database is secure, uptodate, accurate and fit for purpose
  • Producing high quality and varied research outputs for a range of audiences including analysis, report writing and presentations
  • Supporting Frontline Services in maintaining accurate and uptodate record keeping
  • Experience in interrogating and analysing databases to provide performance information
  • Experience of collating, and providing highly accurate and timely reporting and performance data to internal and external audiences
  • Ability to be highly numerate with ability to analyse and synthesise quantitative and qualitative data
  • Proficiency in the use statistical analysis package (MS Excel, SPSS) and MS Office
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy for people from disadvantaged, marginalised or socially excluded backgrounds
