Your Opportunity:
As a Motor Claims Handler at Ageas in Eastleigh, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers through the claims process after accidents. This dynamic role requires individuals who are resilient, adaptable, and excellent communicators with a knack for problem-solving. If you enjoy multitasking, being inquisitive, and taking ownership of tasks, this position is perfect for you.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage fault and non-fault motor claims ensuring customer needs are met
- Handle claims in compliance with policy cover and legal regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, legal professionals, and other third parties
- Proactively progress claims through outbound calls and task management
- Make well-informed decisions on claims payments, liability, and settlements
- Identify and address fraud indicators during the claims process
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Ability to influence and prioritize tasks
- Experience in multitasking and decision-making
- Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Past customer service experience and positive attitude
- Minimum C Grade in Maths and English
