We are recruiting for a new Procurement - Assistant Buyer (Trainee) to join our Head Office team based out of our in MaidstoneAbout our requirement
You will be hands on in nature and have a keen eye for detail. You will be supporting our Senior Buyer and Procurement Manager across all brands liaising with Group stakeholders.
You will be looking to further your career within a financially secure and progressive organisation which values and rewards talented people who work extremely hard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and influence a network of contacts across the business, industry and supplier base.
- To carry out contract administration responsibilities where applicable.
- Support the Senior Buyer and Procurement Manager carrying out procurement processes
- Manage relationships with new and existing internal senior stakeholders and suppliers
- Supporting Senior Buyer and Procurement Manager with continuous improvement of procurement processes
- Purchasing planning, scheduling and forecasting
- Identifying and proposing alternative sources of supply where necessary
- Solving potential supply issues and manage these issues to minimise their effect on the overall business.
