Procurement Officer Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Procurement Officer to join Butler Ross, a well-known public sector organisation based in Maidstone. The successful candidate will support a specific category and report directly to the Procurement Category Manager for that category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure and mobilise new contracts using Public Contract Regulations
  • Assist with contract management and provide supplier analysis
  • Work with suppliers to achieve best value in procurement
  • Support the category manager in designing and delivering procurement strategies
Requirements:
  • Experience of public sector procurement and public contract regulations
  • Experience of utilising call off frameworks

This role would be suitable for individuals with experience in Public Sector purchasing, procurement or supply chain as a buyer, senior buyer, procurement officer or category officer.
