  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
  • Monitor market trends and assess potential risks to procurement processes.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project needs and budgets.
  • Assist in resolving any supply chain issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Buyer, preferably within the groundworks, construction, or civil engineering sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
