Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities, particularly focusing on frameworks within the housing and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage procurement pipelines, managing the process end to end.
  • Take ownership of project plans, liaising and influencing all internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management of projects, directing resources as needed.
  • Ensure all procurement procedures are compliant within frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks and public sector procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • The ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Preferrable experience within housing or construction.
  • Experience with E Tendering systems.
