About the role

Thames Water are looking to recruit both a permanent and a temporary month)
Business Readiness Coordinator to join our busy Business Readiness team in Swindon.


Within this role you will be working within the Business Readiness function, this team is accountable for ensure all transformation activities are launched successfully into the business from planning, training, and preparing our frontline teams to adopt the changes to make the customer experience exceptional.


Primarily you will support the delivery of transformational change across Retail in the most efficient and effective way to deliver brilliant engagement to our customers.

You will ensure there is sufficient capacity to enable the change agreed, to drive benefit for Thames Water customers in landing change effectively.


In addition, you will ensure the business and customer impacts of incidents are understood, and ultimately support in preventing incidents occurring.


What you'll be doing:

  • Communicating with and influencing teams around best practice implementation of change within the business area
  • Impact assess change with a customer and business lens
  • Make recommendations for approval of, implementation of and exit of change into the business area
  • Execution of Business Readiness stage /gate governance model including creation and maintenance of Business readiness plans
  • Deliver performance reporting and RAID management
  • Manage the lessons learned planning and facilitation with business and I.T
  • Exit to BAU Planning

What we're looking for:

Good stakeholder management, the ability to influence and challenge and experience of working with operational teams.

Essential change management experience

  • Good understanding of the endtoend Thames Water business and understanding of Customer Services operations and strategy

Previous experience with RAID management

  • A good team player
