The Account Director

The purpose of this role is to act as a senior advisor to our existing and prospective clients delivering against agreed sales and pursuit plans. The Account Director is a key member of the Sales Team, and the Team's objective is to deliver the company's growth targets. You will be responsible for identifying and securing growth opportunities within existing and New client business. You will be expected to lead subject matter experts from across our organisation to ensure our clients receive an exceptional sales experience across all key measurables and engagement elements. You will be instrumental in driving growth and retention across all accounts and therefore experienced in building long lasting and meaningful relationships based on long term strategies and great stakeholder engagement. You will lead the identification and securing of new business sales with new customers, driving new name business growth in target markets.

Experience.

An AD's experience should preferably include: -


• Experience of Business Development and/or Consulting at a senior level, ideally within a Public Sector facing organisation - Pref Central Government


• Successful experience of selling consulting solutions into public sector organisations


• Possesses a depth of knowledge of the challenges facing Central Government in technology


• Good commercial understanding of business issues affecting our clients and our business


• Experience of leading on external presentations, managing Board level stakeholders and creating solutions for customers across the portfolio.


• Proven ability to develop accounts and in building lasting customer relationships


• Successful track record of selling solutions and business concepts in major accounts.


• Developing and implementing a sales strategy into a business.
• Personally closing significant solutions/services sales.


• Building and maintaining relationships with senior management in major accounts.


• Working in an organisation with a systematic approach to major accounts.
• Developing and successfully managing an account target.
