Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, always ensuring that patient's privacy and dignity is maintained including using digital platforms.
  • Works as an individual and as part of the wider team understanding the importance of being a team
  • Arrange and book appropriate appointments for Fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Document patients appointments and visits / delays and cancellations on PACS/RIS and Quadramed
  • Liaise with wards regarding patient preparation and appointments for Fluoroscopy procedures
  • Assist with the ordering of stock as requested by the line manager using the Order management system.
  • Provide good quality personalised care in accordance with agreed local and national standards.
  • Undertake clinical duties relevant to clinical area following achievement of competencies.
  • Assist to maintain patient safety, conforming to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Work according to Trust Infection Control policies ensuring that the risk of cross infection is mínimal
  • Maintain ANTT and hand hygiene as per Trust Policy
  • Maintain and develop own competence.
  • To assist in preparing and passing equipment for the procedure as
  • To be proficient in the use of Xray equipment, within the levels of competence
  • Sets up and assists with clinical procedures correctly maintaining sterile field
  • Work in accordance to IRR Local Rules and the Trusts IRMER procedures
