Overview

Job Purpose:

Responsibility for developing and delivering the retirement marketing programme with the overall objective of establishing BNY Mellon Investment Management as a top 10 asset management provider in the UK retirement market.

To deliver on this mandate, the role must work closely with central marketing functions as well as forming a close strategic alignment to UK Sales. The role requires a deep understanding UK retirement market, current trends, regulatory framework andfuture developments.
This role is dedicated to working in our agile UK Retirement team. This team is focussed on delivering on one of our strategic initiatives to enhance our Multi-Asset proposition. The induvial in this role will be expected to deliver on their work to achieveour sales targets.

This includes joining the team stand-ups, owning their items on our backlog and owning the processes needed to deliver on their work.

The team works with a mindset of continuous improvement so the induvial will be expected to enhance theprocesses they own, bring new ideas to the table and execute on those ideas with the support of the wider team.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide a strong market orientation and influence strategy formulation in the retirement market with to capture and maintain position in the UK retirement market
  • To ensure that BNY Mellon IM EMEA is kept abreast of competitor activity and market developments.
  • Build plans with central functions in support of revenue targets to target prospects, accounts, and/or partners directly operating within the retirement market. Driving engagement with UK advisers to inform and influence their buying decisions
  • Research, plan and deliver thirdparty and partnership events. Provide timely post event reporting and analysis. Support BNY Mellon IM events team with proprietary retirement events.
  • Contribute towards the overall development of the company's brand and visual identity and local brand awareness/ execution, ensuring compliance with the brand guidelines
  • Identify key accounts with Sales to provide Account Based Marketing appropriate tailored marketing solutions to key clients.
  • Utilise central execution services to improve sophistication, consistency and capacity of engagement campaigns (Pune, central support)
  • Develop targeted direct marketing communications (regular and ad hoc). In doing so, formulate ways to increasingly tie all ecommunications to country dedicated websites that will allow promotion of BNY Mellon IM EMEA and its products whilst increasingwebsite traffic
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activities. In addition, evaluate activities and identify improvements using data driven methods and making use of centrally developed reports and dashboards.
  • Establish and agree compliance processes involving the approval of all local marketing activities and ensure that the agreed procedure is followed and revisited if needed on an annual basis
  • Work as part of the Marketing team and contribute towards making internal and external processes flow smoothly and efficiently
  • Keep sales, client services and sales support personnel fully informed of all marketing developments affecting the regions at all times.
