Stores Operative

- Preparing Fire Alarm Orders for dispatch,
- Configuration of the electronic equipment, emergency call point, heat and smoke detectors, etc.
- Ensuring that the stock availability is kept at a high level,
- Communicating with production department in regards to quality issues with Fire Alarm devices,
- Picking Manufacturing Orders and Customer Orders from the picking list,
- Checking inventory levels and stock accuracy in the system,
- Quality check on delivered goods,
- Labeling the stock, unload, stack, move and place products in correct locations,
- Stock security,
- Housekeeping,
- Transport of goods in between our warehouses (occasionally).
Personal Profile:
Essential qualifications, experience, knowledge and behaviors
- Previous Stores, Dispatch or Logistic experience, desirable but not mandatory as full training will be provided,
- Basic experience in CRM/MRP software, full training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel),
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy,
- Forklift License
- Full UK driving license
