About the Team Leader Role:

As a Team Leader in The Midcounties Co-operative, your primary objective is to provide guidance and support to managers, ensuring that the team successfully achieves its goals. You will also be instrumental in driving sales, enhancing customer loyalty, and meeting store targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Motivate and support the team through effective leadership and communication.
  • Fairly delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Monitor and understand store performance against financial targets and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to assist customers with their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Ensure professional handling of customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Engage in community projects and support local initiatives that align with the company's values.
