We are recruiting Band 5 Child Development Nurse (RN/Children) to work in Barking, Essex on a 3 month contract.

Job Description :
Supporting Children with Complex needs and their families. Observation and Assessments of children with additional needs in the home, clinic and at school/nursery. Attendance at Safeguarding Children Meetings, Liaison with other Professionals, review and development of care plans. Advising and signposting to services within the service and to services in the Community/Local Authority.

Hours :

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Duration : 3 months Experience / Qualifications : An understanding of children's development and experience of working with children with developmental delay. Experience of working in the community with families. Healthcare experience, experience or knowledge of special needs and CYP with mental health needs, empathetic and flexible approach/ability to follow instruction, ability to work on own, able to communicate effectively with colleagues and service users, RIO user would be beneficial; IT skills and knowledge essential; able to use office applications, able to wear all PPE; able to work in an environment where they will be patient facing and in close proximity; able to move around building.
