Role Overview:

As a Pre Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer at Vorboss, you will be instrumental in driving connectivity solutions for businesses. Your role will involve supporting the Sales team by qualifying enterprise prospects and designing network connectivity solutions, utilizing cutting-edge products to meet personal and business objectives.

Vorboss has recently secured over £250 million in funding to enhance high-speed connectivity and fibre services for businesses in London, making your role in the sales team crucial in delivering top-notch customer solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Solutions, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to provide crucial technical support and design solutions catered to enterprise and channel customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Sales Support

  • Work closely with Sales Account Managers to understand customer needs, address technical queries, and offer solutions and technical expertise.
  • Assist in qualifying new opportunities both technically and commercially.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling.

Customer Interaction

  • Participate in customer meetings and calls to provide technical insights, build rapport, and showcase the value of products and services.
  • Collaborate on tenders (RFI/RFP) with a focus on technical precision.

Solution Design

  • Create network connectivity diagrams for proposed solutions, ensuring they align with customer requirements.
  • Work with the Networks and Infrastructure team to understand product technicalities and ensure solution alignment.

Deal Management

  • Oversee deals from qualification to closure.
  • Assist the Customer Success Management team in identifying and resolving technical issues.

Training and Development

  • Train Sales Account Managers to boost their technical knowledge and efficiency.
  • Develop internal documentation to support sales team training initiatives.

Feedback

  • Gather comprehensive customer feedback for the Head of Customer Solutions.
  • Stay updated on product advancements and industry best practices.

Communication and Reporting

  • Ensure clear technical and commercial communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on technical and product enhancements to the sales community.
The Right Candidate:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of sales engineering experience.
  • Proven success in designing complex telecom solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting target KPIs.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced B2B technical sales environment.
  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of network technologies.
  • Experience with networking principles and protocols.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales tools.
