DNV is seeking a highly skilled Technical Pre-Sales Manager to join our team in the Renewables & Ocean Structures Product Line. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading technical discussions with clients, developing sales strategies, and ensuring successful product implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead technical aspects of client discussions for our Sesam and Bladed products
- Coordinate with colleagues in the Support Team, Product Line, and Product Centre
- Develop and present product presentations, software demonstrations, and workshops
- Define product scope based on client requirements and contribute to proposal development
- Contribute to sales strategy development and work towards joint KPIs with Regional Sales Managers
- Provide technical voice of the customer feedback and insights to Product Managers and Product Marketing teams
- Ensure customer value creation through optimal software utilization and successful product implementation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Engineering background in offshore structures, with experience in OWT and/or O&G
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in structural mechanics, offshore engineering, hydrodynamics, or wind turbine design
- Experience in structural design and/or Transport & Installation of turbines or foundations for OWT/O&G
- Proven track record in a similar pre-sales position with quantifiable achievements
- Customer-oriented and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Commercial mindset or eagerness to learn, with a willingness to travel and build relationships
- Experience in a multi-cultural/multinational fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable history of working remotely with associated reporting line
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM application
