Job Purpose

The Showroom Conference Centre is a busy and versatile space with four Conference Suites and an onsite café. To provide a warm welcome and professional service to all delegates and guests who visit The Showroom. Your time will be shared between the café and the events centre. We are preferably looking for an individual experienced in hospitality and events with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

  • To deliver the daytoday operations of The Showroom Conference & Events Centre.
  • To work closely with your manager and supervisors on the planning and implementation of internal and external events using current booking procedures and to deliver events to a high standard.
  • To deal, when necessary, with customer enquiries along with daytoday troubleshooting and addressing problems as they arise.
  • To help ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing laws and other legal regulations.
  • To work in line with our Premises Licence and to make sure all aspects are adhered to.
  • To carry our any other duties that may be reasonably required within the scope of the post.
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in hospitality and events
  • Good catering knowledge
  • Skilled barista although training can be provided
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours
  • Friendly, positive, professional approach and of smart appearance

Job Types:
Temporary, Part-time

Salary:
£10.42-£11.57 per hour
