Business Partner - Information Systems Integration: Within the Performance & Insight Department and working closely with the Information team, the Information Systems Integration Business Partner will be working with both internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver the integration of data systems in order to provide robust data and information for the whole patient journey for Sandwell residents. Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWBT) is an integrated care organisation with a budget of approximately £600 million and over 7,000 staff.

Diversity and social care is at the core of what we do as the Trust provides Community and Acute Services to over half a million people in an urban centre that demands massive regeneration and has substantial premature mortality.


Our new acute hospital, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), opens next year and will provide care to our local population from first class, purpose-built premises.

The development of the new hospital will play an important role in the regeneration of the wider area and in improving the lives of local people and reducing health inequalities.

To deliver and develop data capture and information systems both within the organisation and in conjunction with partner organisations to order to support effective delivery and provision of high quality care in the local health economy.

To work within the Performance & Insight team to support internal system development and maintenance as well as building relationships with external organisations to support collaborative working.

Analyse, design, develop, test, implement and evaluate solutions for system integration projects ,working closed with the Head of Operational Insight to ensure that systems support mandatory data flows and that data quality is a priority.

Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure external systems delivered meet agreed standards and quality.
To lead a technical team who support the current Performance & Insight data function with a progressive remit to incorporate new technologies to support new ways of working and process rationalisation
