IT Asset Management Consultant

They require an ITAM SME to consult on a global strategy to migrate away their current tool, to utilise ServiceNow.
You'll need a solid understanding of license, contract and software management.Autonomy will be given to analyse process follows, identify gaps and changes required, and also implement processes and procedures globally.
Rate:
up to £450 per day (outside IR3- 6 months)

Fully Remote, UK
Main responsibilities as IT Asset Management Consultant
- Act as primary point of contact for all ITAM matters within IT.
- Define and implement the IT SAM & HAM Strategy, covering policies, processes, partners, and toolsets, working in conjunction with other IT Service Management Teams and key stakeholders such as IT Governance.
- Identify and implement appropriate control activities to ensure that IT is compliant with the T&Cs of its software assets.
- Act as internal consultant to all stakeholders to provide support and advice regarding software purchases and the interpretation of license terms & conditions.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends
To be successful as IT Asset Management Consultant
- Experience of ITAM toolsets eg Snow, System Centre (SCCM).
- 5+ years in IT Asset Management.
- Experience managing SAAS license models including O36
- Experience managing licensing in IAAS platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Experience utilizing the Snow License Manager platform.
