Families in Focus is a large multi-disciplinary service providing early intervention and targeted support for children and families with multiple and complex needs.


We require a full time Locality Business Support officer with a talent for administration and an interest in supporting children and families, to join our large team.


You will need strong organisation and administrative skills, an ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills both with users of our services and other key stakeholders.


You will use your own initiative to support the work of the team and the wider partnership, including supporting additional grant funding bids.


You will have excellent IT skills including the use of spreadsheets, data bases, finance processes and ability to take minutes of complex meetings and follow up on actions.

You will be flexible in your approach work and have an ability to manage competing demands.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
