BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Product Governance Manager. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.

Product Governance Manager

The brand new role of Product Governance Manager is responsible for setting the Governance framework and approach for all funding products and ancillary services aligned to local legislation, New Product Process (NPP) and Target Product and Services Portfolio (TPSP).

What awaits you?

Responsible for all aspects of the management, approach, implementation, communication and monitoring of the Governance Framework for business products and ancillary services. Responsible for the ongoing development of Governance Framework. Responsible for all Governance Framework activities and validating suitable and appropriate Product Owners for each product developed or reviewed developing ongoing relationships with each Product Owner, where a Product Owner does not exist or another Product Owner may be better suited this should be communicated and progressed. Responsible for leading the product review plan with Product Owners and key Stakeholders from around the business, with support, where relevant from Product Executives, Product Managers and Insurance Product Manager. Actively sets out any future roadmap for governance approach and resource as Product Governance matures locally, centrally and across markets. Work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to regularly review Product Segmentation and customer outcomes to ensure alignment with associated legislation and business guidelines. Within the Governance Framework clearly share and communicate relevant customer influence definitions including Target Market and Fair Value. Where required ensure the New Product Process is followed and considers the local and international Target Product and Services Portfolio (TPSP), consult with all appropriate local and international Governance related teams to support efficient delivery and relevant product sign off and approval. Champion the cause of customers through Product and Service Governance to support customer outcomes and offer fair value through our products and services.

What should you bring along?

Knowledge of the retail and fleet automotive finance industry, loan and leasing products and services and associated legislation, governance and guidelines Knowledge of products suitable for Private Customers (Group Brands), Private Customers (All Brands) and Business Customers (All Brands) Knowledge of Product Governance, related legislation, product development, project management or change initiatives Customer driven approach and ethic Product Governance Management and Leadership exposure Keen and active interest in legislation, governance, business policies, new technology, innovation, mobility and customer insights Creative and conceptual thinking, which keeps the customer in mind at all times Experience or exposure in Product Governance working in a Project Management, Lean, Agile or similar environment – with focus on positive customer and business outcomes in a timely and efficient manner Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels – confident in working with people from all over the organisation and externally Ability to prioritise and manage workload to plan Team player with self-motivation to work within a team or on their own where relevant Strong attention to detail Understanding of Microsoft, Jira, Confluence or similar tools
