An exciting opportunity has come up for a Senior Product Manager to join our team at DKB Household, a premium housewares brand, with a portfolio of brands including Cole & Mason, Culinare, Zyliss, AdHoc, Ken Hom and Swissmar.
This role sits between design and NPD and is responsible for the Cole & Mason brand.You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, such as pricing, competitor research, presenting to sales, managing samples and forecasts, and sku rationalisation.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of the complete NPD process who is ready to manage products throughout the lifecycle; you will own the product roadmap, execute product strategy, drive action throughout the organisation to get products to market and plan and carry out product launches.
This role also involves liaising with stakeholders across the business to define the go-to-market strategy & NPD plan, helping to define the product positioning, key benefits, target customer, and gain internal approval.
We are looking for a brilliant team player, with effective communication skills and an ability to deal with all types of people at all levels, as you will be working closely with other departments and individualsThis includes:
Working closely with the sales team to ensure they are armed with the relevant category insights and recommendations.
Promoting products to sales teams through training and performing product demos to customers.
Working closely with the Product and Engineering team to ensure delivery of products are on time, to cost, meeting quality requirements and in line with market requirements.
Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes is also key part of this role.
You will be responsible for budget development and revenue for the product categories, as well as analysing data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
Ideally you will have a degree in business or marketing or have a related qualification (or relevant experience). The successful candidate must possess strong product development experience in branded goods, within the international marketplace. Product management experience working with third party vendors / manufacturing is also required. Aninterest in food and cooking is desirable.
This is a full-time permanent role based at our Farnborough office (hybrid) with
some limited travelling requirements.
