The purpose of the Warehouse Team Leader is to manage and lead a team of people to achieve laid down objectives for a specific area of the production facility which leads to overall achievement of the site and continuous improvement.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking responsibility for the output of a specific team
  • Being accountable for the quality of the work produced
  • Managing all Health & Safety matters in their area of work
  • Being accountable for staff management, performance management / absence management / recruitment / retention / discipline / Team Briefing
  • Being Responsible for resource planning and utilisation including budgetary planning and control.
  • Ensuring customer service levels are maintained and improved (internal / External customers)
  • Responsibility for training and staff development
  • Providing cover and cooperation with all other departments of the ACC

The ideal Warehouse Team leader will be/have:

  • Working knowledge of production processes
  • Staff management competence
  • Basic IT skills, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Literate and numerate
  • In depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
