Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supporting the Depot Team Leader, supervising and motivating a team of drivers to ensure they meet performance targets and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Competent using the reporting tools and IT software, collaborating with driver agencies to ensure cover for all areas of daily runs, including timesheet checks, in the absence of the Depot Driver team Leader.
  • Safety and Compliance: Conducting all activities in a manner that promotes the Health and Safety of yourself and all colleagues, supporting site compliance, vehicle checks, safety checks, and ensuring all vehicles are safe and compliant.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a FLT operator and hold a current FLT operating certificate.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
