Fleet & Project Support Co-ordinator

We are a specialist coatings company working predominately within the manufacturing, construction, water and food industries, working within our busy projects office at Dereham, Norfolk.
Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for our fleet management system and will assist in the smooth running of projects by ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to and look to identify ways to improve, making recommendations as required.
You will have the opportunity to make this role your own.
You will need to be a individual, who is practical, flexible and has the ability to deal with problems as they arise, finding solutions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensuring our Fleet management system is kept up to date. Ensuring all vehicles are serviced, MOT'd and any repairs being organized in a timely manner, whilst liaising with the Project Managers to ensure vehicles are available at the appropriate times.
- Ensuring Road Fund Licenses are paid by liaising with other team members.
- Responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed in relation to the Operators License.
- Occasional driving duties may be required, delivering & collecting vehicles/stock items.
- Ensuring all vehicles are inspected weekly and identify any vehicles whereby an inspection has not been carried out.
- Ensure all project documentation, such as information from Positectors, is saved correctly within relevant electronic project folder.
- To assist the Project Managers with the Hire Plant, ensuring that when required, plant is off hired and documented.
- To assist in the issuing of HAVI watches, Drager Units and JSP Helmets to workforce.
- An understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements would be an advantage, but not essential.
- To attend weekly Project Meeting and take minutes of any actions required.
- Ensuring Site Files are maintained, processed and filed when completed.
- Assist Project Managers with updating system with Project Labour Scheduling
- Work as part of team to help with smooth running of the office/projects.
- Other project support duties as required by Project Managers.
