Street Food Events Team Counter Assistants Wanted

Alanda's is a local, family owned business with multiple locations including our Mobile Street Food units that attend many events and festivals throughout Edinburgh over the summer season.


Minimum 30 hours per week required


The events that we are attending start the first weekend of June and run right through until the end of August.

Many of these events are world famous such as the Royal Highland Show and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe so you have the opportunity to meet lots of new people, learn a lot of skills over the summer season and attend various exciting events serving high quality food.


This job is a perfect for students looking to make extra money over the summer season before returning to their studies, or for experienced individuals looking for a slightly higher position with opportunities for supervisor roles over the summer also.


The job role will include:

  • Taking customer orders using the till
  • Making up customer orders
  • General cleaning and keeping the unit organised at all times
  • Replenishing stock throughout the day
  • Working as a team, multitasking, and using initiative
  • Attending many busy and vibrant events throughout the summer.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Pay:
Up to £11.80 per hour
