About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our team at Eurocell. As a Trade Counter Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets in our trade branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers, confidently communicating product knowledge and driving sales.
  • Pick, load, and deliver products to customers via Eurocell's 3.5 tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans, ensuring safe driving and maintaining a clean vehicle.
  • Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety, company policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, supporting the delivery of sales targets and branch operations.
  • Assist with the delivery of branch operations, including warehouse and stock management, front-of-house cleanliness, and point-of-sale.
Requirements
  • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
  • A hands-on customer-focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.
  • A commercial approach to drive sales and maximize margins, while ensuring customers always walk away happy.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and use own initiative.
  • Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry-standard software, such as SAP.
  • A full and valid driving license is essential, and a FLT license could be a distinct advantage.
  • Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and on occasion, alone.
  • Experience within a similar role ideally in a trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing, or uPVC environment could be a distinct advantage.
