JOB TITLE:
GLOBAL QUALITY LEAD - WELL ENGINEERING

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to the Well Engineering and Decommissioning HSEQ Manager, the Quality Lead is responsible for corporate governance of the Well Engineering service line globally, ensuring compliance against the Well Engineering Management System (WEMS) and associated subscribed standards.
  • Support the Petrofac business strategy and continually developing the Quality Assurance and Management System associated delivery frameworks for Well Engineering.
  • Lead and manage Quality Management across the global Well Engineering business within the Well Engineering and Decommissioning Service Line.
  • The review and update of Well Engineering Management System documentation.
  • Responsible for leading in active management of Petrofac and client contractors, including defining the equipment inspection management program for projects.
  • Provide the Well Engineering business with an optimal resourced and competent quality team to support the portfolio of contracts from across all regional activities.
  • Design, implement and deliver the Quality plan KPI's ad objectives within the QHSE annual plan.
  • Lead surveillance and certification assessments of the international performance standards and legislation, with accountability and responsibility for maintaining ISO9001:2015, within Well Engineering.
  • Define the business assurance agenda for Well Engineering through direct engagement with the Leadership Team and stakeholders across the service line.
  • Manage specialist service providers and those providing equipment assurance services on behalf of planning / operations teams to ensure all assurance activities are delivered in line with project Quality Plan / Contract Management Plans and Quality Assurance Registers per project.
  • Expedite close out of investigations or nonconformance reporting within Project delivery teams, liaising directly with responsible contractors and client focal points where required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- suitable qualification in a quality management related discipline and have a valid BOSIET and MIST certification as well as a Lead Auditor Qualification.

  • Experience of auditing, monitoring & review of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems is essential.
  • They should also have strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise with all levels within Petrofac and Client organizations.
