VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN EARLY YEARS SETTINGS ACROSS BOLTON.

3-4 hours per week. (1 morning or 1 afternoon)

Special Needs Under Fives support Charity urgently need volunteers to provide 1-1 support to Special Needs children between the age of 2 and 5.


You will support a child in a school, nursery, private day nursery or playgroup working under the direction of the staff in the setting.

We urgently need volunteers in all areas of Bolton

Astley Bridge, Heaton, Kearsley, Tonge Moor, Halliwell, Horwich, Farnworth, Tonge Fold/Bury Road, Breightmet, Egerton, Dunscar, Daubhill, Moses Gate, Great Lever, Deane, Daubhill, Harwood, Lostock, Sharples, Bromley Cross, Bradshaw, Little Lever, Smithills, Chorley Old Road, Town Centre, Westhoughton
Volunteers who can support in
Astley Bridge,
Heaton,
Kearsley,
Breightmet,
Tonge Moor, Horwich are urgently required.

As a SNUFS Volunteer you must be able to commit to the following:

  • Give details of 2 people prepared to provide you with references
  • Allow SNUFS to complete a DBS on your behalf
  • Agree to complete an online Safeguarding Course
  • Be fluent in the English Language
  • Have 3 hours plus travel time available each week (morning or afternoon)
  • Commit to volunteering in a preschool setting every week for a minimum of 6 months.
