About the Role:
  • Provide specialised support to students with SEN, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist with personal care and manage challenging behaviours that may arise due to students' different perspectives of the world.
  • Support the use of alternative communication devices, such as PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and other assistive technologies.
About You:
  • Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in Manchester.
  • Educational Requirements: A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, is required.
  • Psychology Background: A recent psychology graduate or someone with relevant experience. Previous experience working with children is essential, while experience with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Key Attributes: You should be empathetic, patient, and committed to understanding and supporting children with diverse SEN needs.
