Job Summary:

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a deputy to the Hygiene Manager for absence and holiday, and to coordinate staff to ensure paperwork and factory standards are maintained to a good level.
  • To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures. I.e., COSHH, CICs
  • Liaise with production, Technical and engineering managers to establish good cooperative working practices.
  • To ensure all hygiene activities are risk assessed from a health & safety perspective with any issues escalated and corrective actions put in place
  • To effectively manage and motivate a team of people to meet Hygiene standards.
  • Provide technical skillsbased training with COSHH and Hygiene CICs for existing employees.
  • To ensure that all areas comply with technical audits, both internal and external.
  • To assist with line training and development of new starters and existing employees on the shop floor.
  • To manage the hygiene, lock off procedure for machinery strip downs.

Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently under pressure and make quick decisions
  • Experienced in developing and managing a hygiene team.
  • Selfmotivated
  • Hygiene management supervisory experience in a chilled manufacturing environment
  • COSHH trained.
  • PC Literate
  • Good attention to detail
Ideally you will also have IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

Pay:
£15.12 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
