We're all for pets, what we do matters for pet owners across the UK. This is more than a business, it's a responsibility. It's a promise and commitment we make each day to provide excellent care for each pet that comes through our door.

Every colleague has a part to play to ensure that we deliver on this commitment every day.

Our love and understanding of pets led us to develop our long-term goal to improve the life of every pet in the UK.

This covers not only the pets in our care and the pets of the 8m plus active consumers that buy our products and services but also the pets that we can help through our charity work and through educating and advocating for change in society and the wider pet care and veterinary industry.

We're a nation mad about pets, and we go to any lengths to keep them happy and healthy. It's a love with no bounds and no boundaries.

About the Role

Hand in hand with our goal to improve the life of every pet in the UK, we ant to ensure our colleagues are behind our commitments, engaged in our ethos and feel valued and recognised for the commitment that they each bring to our business.

We want to make Pets at Home a great place to work and that's where you can play a leading role.

Our Colleague Engagement Lead is responsible for creating and delivering our colleague engagement offering across the business.

Working with the Head of Reward and the Benefits and Wellbeing Advisor, this role will be pivotal in developing our Colleague Engagement strategy to propose, shape and implement new initiatives alongside delivering existing programmes.

This role is key in leading and supporting the positive experience and engagement of our colleagues whilst at work, creating and maintaining a culture which motivates and engages colleagues to live happier lives, whilst at work and in their private lives.

In addition to researching, creating, proposing, implementing, and evaluating important engagement programmes including engagement surveys, listening & collaboration forums, colleague recognition and awards, this role will also be responsible for ensuring that all engagement initiatives are communicated out to all colleagues across the business effectively through the appropriate channels.
