Lead Business Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, upkeep, and troubleshooting of a suite of product services utilized by colleagues within our hybrid cloud and on-premise IT framework. This position requires close collaboration with various teams to deliver solutions that adhere to best practices, ensuring they are well-architected and scalable. As a vital source of technical expertise, you will also mentor other team members.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Compliance with Change Management, ITIL, and Operational standards
- Providing after-hours production support as necessary
- Engaging in the construction, migration, maintenance, and oversight of cloud infrastructure (Azure & AWS)
- Ensuring that our colleague services adhere to automation best practices concerning account provisioning, system configurations, monitoring, performance, security, and availability
- Participating in service desk support initiatives and collaborating with team members and clients to resolve issues promptly
- Evaluating, onboarding, maintaining, administering, and coordinating vendor support for colleague service software and SaaS systems
- Offering technical knowledge, expertise, and consultancy on initiative work
- Mentoring team members in both technical and non-technical competencies
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing the application lifecycle and addressing issues as they arise
- Familiarity with the M365 suite (Mail, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office Apps, Dynamics)
- Experience with Azure Active Directory SSO / MFA configuration and integration
- Knowledge of InTune & AutoPilot for environment setup and application configuration
- Proficiency in Windows 11
- Understanding of Printing Solutions
- Strong grasp of security measures related to server and account provisioning and access
- Experience assisting end users with general troubleshooting
- A collaborative approach to teamwork
- Familiarity with DevOps procedures and processes in an Agile environment
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Preferred Azure qualifications
- Accountability and results-driven mindset with a consistent ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible and adaptable work style
- Demonstrated experience in developing the skills of others within the team as a mentor
