Morgan Hunt are looking for an Admission Coordinator/Administrator for NHS based in Central London on temporary contract

Pay rate:
£18ph Ltd

Location:
Central London

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours 08:00am to 4pm Mon to Fri

Duration: 6 months on going contract

The key tasks for this post are to:

  • Take full responsibility for the organisation, arrangement and prioritisation of admissions including diagnostic tests such as MRI, as required, or instructed, including waiting list entries, relating to specialities.
  • Take full responsibility for producing accurate waiting lists/theatre lists on a weekly basis as directed by the Admission Manager.

  • Communicate with patients and their representatives both verbally and in writing confirming preop and admission dates.
  • Contact and liaise with support services and other specialities as needed by the patients and their families i.e. transport interpreters and Patient Hotel bookings, ensuring that documentation is sent to the necessary departments and parents are also notified.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring that all documentation is completed e.g. ward diaries, waiting lists, investigations and diagnostics robots.
  • Respond to requests from patients whether by phone or in writing with regards any inpatient query.
  • Monitor closely on a daily basis the Lists, reporting bottlenecks and avoiding patient breaches.
  • Ensure that all patients are seen and treated within 18 weeks.
  • Ensuring all theatre sessions are populated 2 months in advance and planned 3 months ahead.
