Description

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Ensure all processes are completed to facilitate weekly & period reporting and analysis
  • Issuing weekly & period reports to the GM & site leadership teams
  • Involvement in quarterly forecasting
  • Understanding site costs and the variances to budget & forecast in all key areas
  • Providing ad hoc finance support for GM & senior managers
  • Working with Finance Business Partner to ensure compliance to financial controls
  • Follow the best practice established at other sites/regions
  • Liaising with other members of the central finance team to contribute to accurate budgeting & forecasting

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have:

  • AAT or equivalent background good experience of working in a Finance role
  • Understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes
  • Good Excel skills
  • Accuracy & strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrable technical ability in Finance
  • Show good judgement need to work at a detailed level and have an appreciation of the bigger picture
  • Proactive communicator with good inter personal skills
  • Ability to work with site senior management team
  • Motivated to make a difference desire to dig into the detail and help to find root causes
  • Takes responsibility for helping to develop financial thinking in non finance colleagues


You will be able to get to the West Bromwich office daily where this is on site free parking and is also a very short walk to the bus and train station.
